Advertising Online Without a Website

It is not new news that the Internet is populated with buyers looking for products and services. Online sites have popped up by the millions and continue to grow as online usage increases.

As a business owner you may question if the Internet will ever have a place for your brick and mortar business or you may have already started planning on designing a website to increase exposure of your local business to the Internet population. Never think because your business isn't online that there isn't a place for you because you are without a developed website. Building exposure for your business is the best way to increase the amount of walk-in sales to your establishment and the Internet is big exposure at it's best.

More and more buyers everyday search the Internet for local businesses that are offering goods/services they may need or desire. With the increased need, the development of information portals for the only purpose of providing local specific data to searchers has exploded.

There is a type of advertising service out there that is still in it's growth but growing swiftly in the electronic information age, that advertising service is PPC (pay per call advertising). PPC advertising online allows you to advertise your services/goods but only pay when a buyer calls you. 

Many information search PPC companies are using an ad format that looks much like a content based Google AdWords ad. Instead of clicking a link however, they are asked to call a number instead. This phone number will be a number different from your business phone number but will be routed to your business phone line when called. This allows the advertising agency to track your phone calls and bill you accordingly.

This type of advertising is perfect because you only are paying for results but are being exposed and branded in your local market. The costs of the phone calls will be different based on industry and the PPC agency, but can be well worth the expense if you have a sales team ready to take in inquiries or additional foot traffic. Data has shown that those that call a call center are far more likely to end their conversation with a sale compared to clicking on a website through a paid promotion.
