How To Hide Your IP Address

Every time you use your computer from home, and its connected to the internet you receive an ip address. Each time you access a website they can store your ip address and other confidential information. If you choose to use a proxy then your IP address is hidden from them, and your information remains confidential. This among with many other reasons is a good idea to use a proxy server while browsing the internet.

When you use an anonymous proxy server, its the proxy servers ip address that is displayed instead of your own. The proxy server acts as a gateway between you and the website you are visiting. You just need to plug the ip and port of the proxy server into your browser, or you can use a web based proxy server to simplify the whole process. There are so many free anonymous proxy servers on the internet to use it is unbelievable. Its just a matter of finding one that can access the sites you need, and that is at the same time fast.

In some countries such as Iran and China, their internet usage is censored by their government, and many sites are blocked from them being able to access. However if they choose to use a proxy server a whole new web of oppurtunitys open up. They can access virtually any site through the proxy. The problem with these countries is that their government also blocks the proxy sites, so they have to find fresh proxies all the time.
