I was interested to learn that global distribution has made such a strong advance through the online business world of B2B networks and portals. I have been researching import possibilities in consumer electronics for online sales on our web site and auctions. I didn’t find what I was looking for in drop shipping, but the ability to import from China a whole range of consumer electronic products from various suppliers online was a quick and easy process in comparison. The world market has really changed in the last ten years, as I can now custom order consumer electronics with our own unique brand that have all the same features as the top technologies coming from Apple and Sony. Online business has become more interesting and profitable as we expand our business through these kinds of import opportunity.

Becoming an international distributor of our own branded consumer electronics such as MP3 and DVD players was a global distribution opportunity I was eager to invest in. Even on a small scale, we sell to over 30 countries through our online web site and auctions. Another import opportunity exists for creating branded laptops from wholesale suppliers in China. With this, we were following the example of most successful multinational enterprises in IT, but import from China is really simple through B2B networks and suppliers online. Hopefully free trade will continue to expand and we can continue to build our business relationship in this as well as new ways for years into the future. I am also planning a business trip to China to look into some new opportunities for re-branding consumer electronics for our online sales and auction network. We mostly use air cargo with home delivery to our warehouse that is set up near the garden in the back yard, but with UPS we can manage our retail shipping with a scheduled pick up every three days for shipping.
