If you don't want to visit a forum, then visit article directory sites and find out what people are writing articles about these days. You can easily get ideas for your own articles and short reports just from reading one or two articles on the topic that interests you and that you want to make money online from. In fact, you don't even have to read the article, just scan the titles of newly posted articles!

As you can see, it's easy to find hot topics to write short, content-rich reports on that you can turn around and offer for sale at a low price that people will jump for.
