What do you miss? If you have the most successful presentation in the world you will still need to prepare a nice speech and make people who listen to you believe what you talk about. It's really important not just to talk about the topic, but get the feedback.

Getting feedback is necessary for several reasons. The first and the most important, it is the best way to sell your product or service. If people understand what you are talking and they believe it or just can check it and find out that it is beneficial, then you will win. If you talk to your audience and people just don't fill anything about your ideas, you will loose.

So how to get the feedback from your presentation? Actually, it's simply and there are a number of ways you can do it. First, imagine you are sitting and listening to the speaker. What would you like to learn? What is more important for you? What facts you'd like to learn? What facts are not really interested for you? Before preparing PowerPoint presentation, consider putting down your ideas and answers to these questions. If you don't know if you should tell about something or not, then check your questions. The rule is to talk about things people are willing to listen.

Another important fact, if your PowerPoint presentation is about a product or service, then you don't need to just sale. Think about giving out something for free, for instance, it's a good idea to give out some industry-specific statistics, case-study or titles of important whitepapers. Probably people will not purchase your product right now, but they will be using your slides as a hand book, brochure, they will be giving it out to their colleagues in other companies.

Let's try another approach. Please, think about presentation that you remember better than others. What is special about this PowerPoint presentation? Probably the speaker used some vivid graphics or he was your friend, or he told something very important or you have known some new facts and ideas. Analyze your own experience, think about what was the most important in your case. Try to copy some style of making presentation, some special speaking style or some style of reslide show facts or other information.

Final step. Compile all your ideas into PowerPoint presentation and ... right! Test it and then test it again and again, you should get as much feedback as you can. Do you know what PowerPoint presentation are the most successful one? These that were presented last year! Yes, author of this slide show have a chance to analyze what was good and what was bad about his slide show, so slides usually is getting much better. Why waste one year when you can get it better right now? Just give it a test with your friends and colleagues. See how it works and prepare a better version.
