Silver Linings And Watchtowers Of Imagination

I was having a conversation with one of my elite coaching club members recently and it reminded me of a great technique I have used with very positive results for a while now. There are so many beautiful, elegant ways of manufacturing positive outcomes in our lives and that is a positivity in general, and a positivity that can be laser focused on all aspects of ourselves-relationships, business, health and wellness.

I understand I have some very pragmatic readers here. . .I, myself, am as pragmatic as they come. So this exercise might seem silly at first blush. This state of silliness is fine with me, especially if the outcome means more money, more clients, more happiness. . . Suspend your cynicism and allow the potential power of this to work for you.

One technique I love to use is that I imagine a cloud and I fill the cloud full of positive thoughts. Say, for example, I'm working on a business deal and my goal is (as always) to have the most beneficial outcome for all involved.

My imagination cloud will cover the entire area surrounding our interaction, for example, an office. And my cloud holds anything I want it to hold--watchtowers around the perimeter or missiles to zap out negative thinking and problems that might arise in the course of negotiations.

Sometimes I envision the cloud over my prospect's head parts and allows the sun to shine down, the sun's rays representing a golden opportunity to work together. I put genies up in there, imagining them swooping down bringing gold bars to show the richness available from our work together.

I love the image of gold bars in particular because in my experience with my students and clients, they have benefited in many ways from our working together. Many of them experience surges in productivity, and hit milestones in income level as a result of learning persuasion.

This cloud can also rain down on your prospect, the rain being gentle pressure and persuasion to see things your way.

You may have your cloud rain down little notes that tell your client, 'accept my deal' and 'let's bring this to the next level and move forward'.

There is no limit to the possibilities your cloud can accomplish. Whether you know it or not, you are a creative being and you are capable of manifesting what you want through your thoughts. We can conjure up all sorts of realities in our personal, business and public universes with a simple thought.

We can be miserable, or we can be motivated. We can create the optimum internal environments within ourselves, fertile with our imaginings and thoughts, which will yield amazing results. And all this happens because we make a choice. Incredible.
