Tips for Gift Baskets

By: Jack Smith

Gift Baskets for Men
Here are a few quick ideas for creating a gift basket that any man would appreciate. Keeping in mind that just about every guy on the face of the earth likes sports, beer and food, one could assume stuffing a gift basket full of these things would please any man. Grab a couple tickets for the guy’s favorite team; pick up some mixed nuts, some good beef jerky, and a little bottle of Jack Daniels or a couple bottles of his favorite beer. If you really want to go all out you can throw in any of these as well; baking, chocolate, coupons, lottery tickets, concert tickets, movies, cds, video games, gift certificates, jewelry, golf gloves or other sports related gifts. The easiest way to find the perfect gift for a man is to think like a man!

Gift Baskets for Women
Gifting for women is just about as easy as gifting for men. There are tons of things women like such as, concerts, musicals, plays, romance novels, spa and salon packages, soups, bubble baths, lotions, magazines, massages, cds, wine, jewelry, movies, gift certificates, clothing, and lingerie, just to name a few. The trick to creating the perfect gift basket is to be unique. Little things like buying a centerpiece type glass bowl and using that for the basket will score you extra points for sure.

Gift Baskets for Kids
Kids are so easy to please. Giving a gift basket to a child is a fun idea. Most people don’t think of it, but kids love getting a big basket full of goodies! Then again, who doesn’t? The idea is to target the age group and shop for it. What a kid likes when he or she is 3 years old will contrast what they enjoy playing with when they're 5. Some kids like going to the zoo, so a few tickets and a promise to go take them to the zoo is a great basket stuffer. Stay way from things like candy, clothing (and alcohol). Once again remember to get creative, and remember, kids are easy to please!
