Which way to Deliver Unusual Atmosphere to Your House Decor

By: Mathew Petrenko

The people finally began understanding the projects and concepts of great modern interior designers only in the twentieth century. To say more appreciation came just in the last years of the century. Earlier no one actually understood anything of contemporary interior design. And what’s the sense in being a specialist if you don’t know how to present people the sense of your greatly extraordinary bathroom design or if you can’t take an attractive image of some new ceiling design? Anyway, that’ll all be ok if you keep to these five ideas.

1. Floor in the role of a background of art There are many spots alternative to walls where you can display your art. For example why not place the painting on the floor bending it on the wall or perhaps on furniture. If you have 2 or more pieces of art there are numerous variants for you. For example leaning one piece of art over the other gives a sense of pleasant carelessness and delicacy simultaneously leaving most of the art visible.

2. How to use shelves and gallery ledges to show paintings Think of a long lath on the wall. You can place images on all the extent of it. Try to make the order unusual, e.g. make it so that several pictures cover the others. If the paintings you have are of various size attempt to set them so that little pics appear in front. In case you dream of decorating the wall over the fireplace, these ideas will as well be useful.

3. Use interesting methods to hang art You can anytime try some interesting method to display your paintings as an alternative to just hanging them on the wall. Find some horizontal beam that may be fixed on the wall quite close to the ceiling. The painting should be held with two strings. Every string connects the edge of the picture with the horizontal beam for the picture to maintain its position. An idea like this brings a sense of art gallery into the house decor.

4. The method of attaching paintings on ribbons To try this you’ll have to get two or three thick ribbons and let them down 1/2 to three quarters the length of the wall. So you make your pictures attached to the bands one higher than the other the way that they hang on the ribbons. Such a new method of picture hanging brings a feeling of something special into the interior. You may try to make it in a different way if for every painting you apply its single ribbon. In this case you’ll need to fix the ribbon to the wall close to the ceiling and then loop the remaining end of it through the 2 upper corners of the picture frame. So you should tie the free end of the ribbon to its main length. You can control the shape and size of the band. It seems pretty in the shape of triangle.

5. Imaginary level line So in case you have a lot of pictures to display on the wall think of a kind of line across it to apply it as a reference point. Begin applying a small leveling gauge to control the level of the pictures. You can do it so that the picture will never tilt to one direction. You’ll just need to get some 2-sided tape to the frame corners and stick it to the wall to secure the piece of art.
