Why Flushing Dental patients are saying aaahhh!

"There's no way your getting older, you are just becoming greater." You recognize that one, right?

I would like to think I'm improving with my age, but I have suspected that I'm just getting ... well, older. Which I don't like really.

It's said that white teeth are a sign of youth, so I trotted off to get dental work done and spent 60 minutes watching a movie while a bleaching light pointed at my mouth. It is a small price to pay for turning back the hands of time.

You can leave your dentist's office with whiter teeth, a scrubbed face, soft hands and great looking skin . It turns out to be that Dr.Trivedi has mixed a full-service dentist's office including spa services such as paraffin hand treatments, facials, hot stone therapy, eyebrow waxing and body wraps.

Dr. Trivedi first mixed dental treatments with spa services after studying about closely related business approaches on the Internet, the spa treatment can take the edge off of a appointment to the dentist.

"Let's confront that there's a fear when it come's to the dentist. So a nice and calm state was created so that the office is a peaceful environment."

You may get the idea that Dr. Trivedis' patients are overwhelmingly women, but your thinking is wrong. Sure, 65% are women, but men coming in for dentistry also attempt getting facials and waxings too.

Men will not go to a salon to get these things done, but a the dentist he will try. "You'd be shocked by the number of men who use spa services."

Patients will feel greater about dentistry if they aren't worrying about other facial problems.

"Everyday I ask my patients how they feel about their teeth. That question brings about other problems. Patients will say, "I wish my skin was good and didn't have any problems." So that's why there is spa dentistry."

Dr. Trivedi said she hasn't depended upon conventional advertising to get business because word-of-mouth advertising is the dental spa's best promotion tool.

Women talk about pretty much everything. Someone will have their first facial and then go tell everyone they know, or there will be a 15-year-old who comes in to get her eyebrows waxed for the first time and then her mother will hear her say, "Oh my gosh I just got my eyebrows waxed at a dentist's office!"

The Internet was the cause of Dr. Trivedis' idea to open a dental spa, the Web has extended the word about the growing business. And possibly the dentistry-spa combination is really going to evaporate the fears of patients.

A patient wrote: "I have never felt so much comfort while being in a dentist's office. The extras that the spa provides are so great! I got my very first facial there. Someone else wrote, "I got the feeling of being at a health resort and not a dental appointment."

Dr. Trivedi enjoys helping patients feel better about themselves. Here's an example, recently a girl came in on her prom day to have a broken orthodontic bracket mended. She left Dr. Trivedis' office with new braces, as well as newly waxed eyebrows and professional makeup done, kindness of the spa's aesthetician.

Oh and in addition to finding her spa dentistry idea on the Internet and depending on electronic testimonials to boost her business, Dr. Trivedi says "The Internet is a fantastic tool," she said with, yes, a attractive, white (and youthful-looking) smile.
