Text / Article Formatter
Formatting your text to specific
number of characters per line is an important part of writing articles for
publication on the Internet. Most ezine publishers prefer articles to be
formatted to 60 - 65 characters per line.
However, counting each character and manually placing a hard carriage return
at the end of each line can be very time consuming. That's why we've developed
an online text formatter that makes formatting a breeze.
To format or reformat your text:
- Paste or type your content into the text area below.
- Type in your formatting preferences. For example, if you want your text formatted to 60 characters per line, type in 60.
- Has your text been previously formatted and needs to be reformatted? Type in y to reformat your text. Otherwise, type n.
- Has your text been previously formatted and contains extra spaces between some of your words? Type in y to remove the extra spaces. Otherwise, type n.
When you click on the Format Text button, your formatted article will
be instantly displayed beneath the text area. Simply copy and paste your
newly formatted text into your text editor and save it.
Please note: If your content contains list items, you will need to format
them by hand once the formatting process it complete.
